The local community were likely aware of an incident circulated on social media and by an online local news provider on 13th June 2025 involving the police on Truro Road, St Austell. This incident involved police officers from our Neighbourhood Support Team arresting a male for drugs possession offences at an address located close to the fish and chip shop. The male was charged for these drugs offences and was remanded to appear at Bodmin Magistrates Court on 14th June. The male pleaded guilty at court with magistrates making the decision to remand him to prison pending sentencing at Truro Crown Court on 15th July.
